Abstract

Whilst containerisation tech like K8 is increasingly popular, many organisations still need to run large fleets of servers in cloud providers using more traditional configuration management systems. This talk explains how to implement open source Puppet in a reliable and secure manner in the AWS cloud, including a CI/CD workflow for releasing new configuration, secure autosigning of systems and reliable failure tolerant Puppet masters.
